Tendons are made up of dense connective tissue which contain collagen fiber in the form of small bundles, tendons also consist of fibroblast. Fibroblast are typical cells that are known to regenerate or reproduce the collagen fibers. Some things that tendons enable us to do are things like running, jumping, walking, swimming, etc. tendons are also referred to as sinews. ligaments are a fibrous connective tissue which attaches bone to bone, and usually serves to h old structures together and keep them stable.
